GRANT WRITING & RESEARCH

As grant writing professionals, we go through databases, websites, funder tax returns, annual reports of similar nonprofits and more to get you the best prospect list. We specialize in targeting appropriate grants which ably within the parameters of our client’s mission and tune our language appropriately. Understanding the creative process of a grant proposal is a large contribution in our success. Our methodology includes a step by step process:

  • Research and analyses of our target benefactors and/or donors for the proposal
  • Collaborate with our clients to find the intended subject matter of each proposal
  • Creative process of writing the proposal
  • Our team constantly revise, edit, and proof reading each proposal before submission
  • Submitting the proposal

The process always begins with a client’s mission. By spending time to understand our client’s product or service, we have acquired a wide variety of knowledge in diverse industries.

Researching historical data, quantitative analysis, and understanding the long term projections of each of our clients, gives us a clear picture of their individual funding potential.

By creating a plan of action and assess the project’s progress throughout the grant writing and submission process, we evaluate the effectiveness of the project and assess the impact within the target audience.

The budget lays out the project costs and shows allocation of capital. The budget is incredibly important, and if a client doesn’t have a written template for a budget, GrantLinkx will provide guidance in creating one. A budget typically projects the cost of personnel, equipment, office or laboratory space, research etc.

Upon receiving a grant or gift, GrantLinkX will reach out on behalf of the organization to show our appreciation, this creates further rapport with the donor or benefactor and allows GrantLinkX to be an additional source of information. We highly suggest that when a grant or gift has been awarded, that the organization begin to track the progress and influence the capital has made to the organization. This will prove to be incredibly important, for multiple reasons, but especially useful if the grant or gift has an opportunity to be renewed.

Experience is of significant importance when it comes to a grant writer’s ability to create successful proposals. GrantLinkX prides itself on the writing process, which we believe provides an incredibly valuable asset to any organization which seeks funding in order for them to reach their goals.
